I Am She is a beautiful tribute to black women who have forever changed our history and it is told by powerful black women who continue to be a part of that change today. The documentary was profoundly moving. Hearing the story of Margaret Garner, who took the tragic step of killing her daughter to protect her from a life of enslavement, deeply resonated with me. It is essential that we share more narratives like this one. Black women deserve to be honored for their contributions, courage, and resilience, among many other reasons. I encourage you to continue shining a light on these important stories. Excellent work overall. I fully support your efforts and would appreciate knowing how I can contribute moving forward.
